Creamy Cacao Collagen Mousse

A silky, high protein dessert to satisfy those luteal phase cravings as well as help to calm the mind and body. Cacao is a rich source of magnesium; our calming mineral.

We love magnesium as it helps to settle both the mind and body, making it great for any cramping, sleep disturbances or anxiety you may feel in the lead up to your period.

Including protein during this time of your cycle is super important as we want to help stabilise our blood sugar, to reduce cravings. Isoflavones in the tofu, also help to modulate oestrogen.

Ingredients:
-300g block silken tofu
-100g block dark choc melted
-1 heaped tablespoon collagen
-2 tablespoons cacao
-2 tablespoons of maple syrup
-Pinch of sea salt

Steps:
1. Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until you get a silky consistency.
2. Serve in four of your favourite glasses, and top with your choice of fruits, or nuts.

You could even elevate this by adding some orange zest into the blender and creating a choc orange mousse. 🧡
