Four sisters fed up with an industry overrun by harmful products and a brother who has taken a front row seat to their struggles, together, the Burns family have vowed to be a recipe for change.
What started as a common grievance within a female dominated family has now grown into a real means to tackle it - Femmé Organic. We are a family owned and operated business founded in 2020, with hopes of inspiring change where the need for it is globally overlooked.
Our shared values as both founders and activists for change translate to an unrelenting dedication to create a better future for the menstruation industry. A future that holds a reevaluation of its health, safety, and ethical standards.
Femmé Organic was born to spread the importance of High Quality Feminine Hygiene products with the key goal of empowering those who use them. The way we intend to do this is not only through the distribution of such products, but the distribution of the knowledge that remains hidden to facilitate wrongful profit off mass miseducation.
We are determined to educate anyone who will listen. To drive a movement that establishes protective measures against the consequences of using unsuitable period products, empowering consumers to reclaim their bodies. The world needs to normalise natural solutions for nature’s occurrences, and that starts with Femmè Organic.
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. We distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period. Share the Dignity assists those in need through collecting thousands of period products each year through our collection drives and campaigns and distribute them directly to charities across Australia.
We are an independent charity, staffed by a committed group of scientists, educators and passionate advocates who have defended Australia’s oceans for over 50 years. AMCS works on the big issues that risk our ocean wildlife. Together, we have protected critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef. We have led the movement to ban whaling, stopped supertrawlers, and protected threatened and endangered species like the Australian Sea Lion.
